Thanks to the leadership of Town Administrator Steve Maio, the first “Wakefield in Motion”
month was celebrated in October. There
were over 50 Eat Better, Move More events open to the community listed on the Melrose/Wakefield Mass in Motion website, encouraging residents to find something they love and stick with it. One small change makes a big difference on the path to better health!
Without our dedicated community partners,
none of this would have been possible. A
huge thank you to the following: Zuzu’s
Catering, Farmland, Wakefield Public Library, Wakefield Chamber of Commerce, Melrose Boot Camp, Friends of Moulton Park, Mystics Runners Club, Wakefield Farmers
Market, Wakefield Public Schools, Board of Selectmen, Town Planner, Health Department, Department of Public Works.

promoting healthy eating and active living by changing the environment in which we live, work and play. In other words, making the healthy choice, the easy choice for all Melrose and Wakefield residents! Contact Kara to learn more: email@example.com, 781-979-4123.
