Registration for the Wakefield Soccer Association’s 2012 Fall intramural and travel soccer program is now open.  Children born between 9/1/1998 and 8/31/2008 are eligible to play.

Registration will be open through August 20, 2012, but register early to avoid a $15 late fee that takes effect on August 1, 2012. For players interested in playing on a travel team, see deadlines and requirements in the Travel Team Program section below.

Travel Team Program

Tryouts for the Fall travel teams will be held on May 20 and either June 3 or June 5. Exact times and locations are in the process of being finalized and will be posted soon on the WSA website at www.wakefieldsoccer.org. Players wishing to make a U10, U12, or U14 travel team must attend at least one tryout, but are encouraged to attend both sessions.  

Players are not guaranteed a position on a travel team. Those who do not make a team will be placed on an intramural team. Travel teams play both a Fall and Spring schedule in the Middlesex Youth Soccer League.

Age Cut-Offs:
U10 must have birthdate between 9/1/2002 and 8/31/2004
U12 must have birthdate between 9/1/2000 and 8/31/2002
U14 must have birthdate between 9/1/1998 and 8/31/2000

Players must register by May 17 to try out for the first session and by May 31 to try out for the second session. Registration will be closed May 18 – 20 and June 1 - 3 to prepare for the try-outs. Players CANNOT register at the try-outs and must register ahead of time.
