The Event Planning Committee is hard at work planning the Third Annual Shamrock Festival. The two-week event will be kicked off with a Fashion Preview, Merchant Row and Man Cave on Sunday, March 18 from 2 - 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Colonial North. 

For the fashionistas, there will be a Fashion Preview presented by alano, Berkachi Bridal, Florence’s Fashions, J’Adore and Rada Boutique.  There will also be entertainment, raffles and a chance to visit the dessert bar.

Guests will be afforded an opportunity to stroll down Merchant Row, as well, to view the offerings of several of our local businesses.  Non-profit groups will also be set up along Merchant Row for informational purposes.

Men, we didn’t forget you. You may not be interested in the fashion preview.  So we have put together a sports-themed Man Cave where you will be able to sit back and watch the Final Four game(s) of the day while enjoying a beverage from the bar. 

So for a mere $25 per person, you will be able to take in a Fashion Preview, be entertained, socialize with friends and neighbors, see the latest items local merchants have to offer and enter many fantastic raffles.  All this plus snacks and a dessert bar!  Or you can sit back and enjoy the Man Cave (just a note---women are allowed) where you can watch the Final Four. 

Tickets will go on sale the week of February 20 at the following locations: Alano, Berkachi Bridal, Florence’s Fashions, J’Adore, Rada Boutique and Smith Drug.  Tickets are limited so get yours early.  Last year was a sell-out and this year there is more to enjoy!

The happenings on Sunday will be the start of the two-week Spring into Shopping event featuring our local Wakefield merchants. So come on down and see what it’s all about!
