At this time, [The Wakefield Police Department] is not able to conduct child safety seat checks.

The state is in the process of changing to a new program coordinator, and I am still waiting to recertify as a technician. Once the new coordinator takes over I will be able to complete my recertification. As soon as this happens I will post a message on the Police Department website. We will also hopefully train more officers to assist the public sometime in the near future.
