Thank you to everyone who kept looking for Bailey and to the Melrose resident who contacted Animal Control about a loose dog living in her neighborhood.

Bailey was rescued in a short time and is doing well back at Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.

Many, many thanks to all the volunteers who came out in September to comb the woods looking for Bailey and for everyone who didn't give up hope!

Searchers for Bailey are offering a generous reward for his safe return.

Bailey is abut 8 mos. old and weighs about 25 lbs.

He's reddish brown and has a long body similar to a Daschund.

Bailey was last seen on Sept. 27 at the Lynnfield Woods Office Park.

We are hopeful that someone took him to safety.
