  • August 30, 2011

[The following was submitted by the Department of Public Works.]

To All Residents,

Private yard waste debris must be brought to the Nahant Street yard waste site.

The DPW has opened the Nahant Street Yard Waste Site the week of August 29th, Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, September 3rd from 8:30 am to 4 p.m. Residents with yard waste permits can bring brush and leaves to the site during the hours mentioned. Yard waste permits can be purchased at the Town Hall for $25.00 and are good for the remainder of the year.

Please note, the DPW is still working on public tree debris and will not be able to pickup private yard waste debris.  This debris must me brought to the Nahant Street yard waste site. Yard waste debris put out with the trash will not be picked up.

Commercial vehicles are not allowed at the Nahant Street yard waste site.

Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the DPW at 781-246-6301.

Thank you for your assistance with this issue.

Well, then, are they going to provide the truck? Because these limbs won't fit in my Honda Civic. What ever happened to making "government work for the people"? Guess not.
