Curbside Collection of Christmas Trees

Tuesday, January 3rd to Saturday, January 7th – Red Recycling Week

Monday, January 9th to Friday, January 13th – Blue Recycling Week

The Wakefield Department of Public Works has scheduled curbside collection of Christmas Trees to begin Tuesday, January 3rd and continue through Friday, January 13th. Trees will be collected on the day of your scheduled recycling collection.

Please remove all ornaments, tree stand and other decorations.

Trees wrapped in plastic WILL NOT be collected.

Christmas trees should be placed at the curb on your scheduled recycling collection day, by 7:00 am. The DPW will make one pass down each street in accordance with the above schedule.

Trees not put out on your collection day can be brought to the Nahant Street Yard Waste Site by appointment.
